Breaking the cycle

Admit it, we spent too much time in the virtual world than in the real world. Everyone's guilty of it.

Hmm, it can't be all that bad, yet being couped up indoors, staring at the screen for hours on end, how does it affect our body+mind+soul development?

It used to be that taking afternoon naps would make us dumber. (Well, that's what my smart friends told me in school!)

Then recently, a few articles in the print/online news said that taking a holiday could make us dumber too, due to the brain shutting down as a result of too much relaxation and lack of stimulation. (Google it: Holidays, relaxing make you stupid)

Oh dear, if I'm not mistaken, Malaysia seems to have the most holidays compared to other countries.

Well, go figure. Maybe that's why I even feel lazy to pack up my suitcase!

So how do we stop our intelligence from being drained away?

Fret not. Apparently, there are some things that could save us. Chewing gum, playing board games like Scrabble, Monopoly and Chess. Solving puzzles count too.

In short, all the things I used to do as a child! Ahah, that's why children are so wickedly clever!

Pardon me, but then who'd like to sit down and play a round of board games with me? :P

Well? I gather that any free time would be spend on your iPhone or iPad, playing games like Angry Birds.

P.S. All is well though, just try not to be too sedentary.

*Curiousplayfan thinks that lazing around on weekends/holidays is meant to be, because it feels so wonderful! Walking counts as her daily exercise:)
